Biological activity:
Anacardic Acid (6-pentadecylsalicylic Acid) is a potent inhibitor of p300 and p300/CBP-related factors histoneacetyltranferases. It also has antibacterial and antimicrobial activities, inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, and inhibits tyrosinase and lipoxygenase.
